'Jervis & Meat, two young producers, promoters, Djs starting to make a name for themselves on the Uk Hardcore / Freeform northern scene for there fun antics of bouncy, ravey, uplifting music.  Whether it be a track they're writing or a general Dj set, the focus is energy and the prime goal of having fun is held high in value.

They first met back in 2005 and since then had a close connection in and out of the scene, building there careers in music.  

They started off taking small bookings as a double act and before long wanted to launch there own free entry night ‘HeadRush’ to showcase new talent and more established artists whilst giving some thing back to the scene.  

This event vastly became known amongst artists and punters alike for been not just a unique event but also one packed from the underground with pure fun and filth'.

Since then these two young music fanatics have been rushed off their feet.  In 2008 alone they took over 50+ bookings, had tracks on 2 album compilations and had 8 featured tracks on BBC Radio 1 supported by Kutski and Huw Stephens, alongside such media attention on the radio and magazines such as M8 these two soon came to the attention of Nu Energy Head Honcho Kev Energy who quickly signed them up as Nu Energy Artists and pushed there first e.p out on to the selves with more to follow.
 
This pair have taken bookings all over the Uk including, Dance Island Festival, Natural Born Ravers, Freeformation, Ravers Reunited, Die Hard & Dizstruxshon to name but a few also including there residencys with Pure-Nrg & Equinox (Stoke). With there ever expanding studio and dj skills these two may well be a force to watch out for.   

Hoj also known as James from Buxton, Derbyshire, has been working away at music for some time now, with his typical taste ranging from bouncy bootlegs through to uplifting freeform, his sets tune selection always remain versatile which can be reflected with by his mixing style, anything goes from double droppin to quick paced mixing and scratchin, his sets remain fresh just like his productions.  
 
So far his productions have gone down well in the clubs, by other dj's and producers alike,  His biggest track to date Vermin (Jervis & Hoj) was featured various times on Radio 1 in 2008 alongside charted in M8 and signed to Nu Energy.  Hoj has also had tracks signed to other labels such as Relentless, Sonance and Sock puppet records.  His tracks can range from a generic vocal piece to a harder edge dark bounce track, making sure he ticks everybox on the 'fat track' criteria and his music style always evolving.  

His Djin has seen him play at various venues all over the north and through out the midlands in 2008 and 2009 including his residencys @ HeadRush & Pure-Nrg, alongside preformances at events such as We Call It Hardcore, Missing In Manchester, Uk Scene, Sensation to name but a few.
